Nick is a 2001 birth year Turcotte student who plays center for his father's owned NJ Renegades U12 team. He has been playing hockey for six years. Nick's father Cliff is currently a Head Instructor for The Turcotte Stickhandling Hockey School and has been since 1995.
Nick also plays for the 2001 AAA DC Selects under another Turcotte Head Instructor, Rob Keegan. They recently were semi-finalists at the Chicago Chi-Town Shuffle this past April. Last season, Nick's 01 DC Select team won the prestigious Memorial Day Shootout at IceLine in West Chester, PA with a 4-2 victory over the host Philadelphia Jr. Flyers in the Finals with Nick scoring the game winning third goal and assisting on the fourth and final goal to seal the tournament championship.
Nick has been doing the Turcotte moves since he was three and four years old in the garage, basement, and driveway as well as on the ice in practices, camps, clinics, and lessons with his dad focusing on the details of the moves. The moves Nick has learned has made a tremendous difference in his game as well as his teammates and the teams he has played on. Nick usually attends four to five summer Turcotte camps with his father to keep his moves sharp and hopes one day to be an instructor for the school that has given him so much.
Congratulations Nick on your continued success! The Turcotte Family will be watching!
